A New Chapter of Growth: Beginning My 300-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training

There is something beautiful about remaining a student, even when you have spent years learning, practicing, and sharing what you know with others. No matter how much we experience or how far we travel on our personal journeys, there is always more to discover when we approach life with curiosity and an open heart. I am excited to share that I am beginning a 300-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Guru Singh through Kundalini University, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to continue deepening my practice.

For me, this journey is about much more than adding another certification to my teaching background. It is an invitation to explore my own spirituality more deeply, strengthen my meditation practice, and discover new ways of bringing together the many elements of wellness that have become so meaningful in my life.

Learning from a Fountainhead of Wisdom

One of the things I appreciate most about Guru Singh is the way he shares his knowledge with such depth, creativity, and inspiration. He is a true fountainhead of wisdom, weaving together teachings that invite you to think, question, experience, and explore. I love how his approach intersects yoga education with asana practice, breathwork, meditation, and music, creating an experience that feels both intellectually engaging and deeply experiential.

This integration resonates with me because I have always been drawn to the ways different practices can complement one another. Movement can help us become more aware of the body, breathwork can shift our attention inward, meditation can create space for stillness, and music can reach places that words sometimes cannot. When these elements come together with intention, they offer so many opportunities for exploration, connection, and personal discovery.

Deepening My Own Spiritual Practice

Although I love sharing yoga and wellness practices with others, I believe it is equally important to continue doing the work for myself. Teaching invites us to support others along their journeys, but remaining a student reminds us that we are always evolving, too. I see this training as an opportunity to create more space in my own life for spiritual inquiry, meditation, self-reflection, and a deeper understanding of the practices I love.

I am especially excited to explore how Kundalini Yoga can enrich my relationship with breath, movement, sound, and meditation. I want to approach this experience with curiosity rather than expectations, allowing myself to learn, question, experiment, and grow along the way. I know there will be plenty of new concepts to absorb and practices to explore, and I welcome the opportunity to be challenged in ways that help me expand my perspective.

Bringing What I Learn to Lightkeeper's Way

This next chapter also feels like a natural extension of the vision I am cultivating through Lightkeeper's Way. My work continues to evolve around the idea of creating experiences that help people reconnect with themselves, cultivate presence, and discover greater meaning in their lives. Whether through yoga, guided meditation, therapeutic harp music, Reiki, or photography, I am continually exploring different ways to create space for reflection, connection, and personal growth.

As I deepen my own practice, I look forward to discovering how these teachings might inform the experiences I offer in the future. I am particularly drawn to the intersections of movement, breath, meditation, and music, and I am excited to see what new inspiration emerges as I continue learning. I don't expect to have everything figured out at the end of this training. Instead, I hope to come away with a richer understanding, a more grounded personal practice, and new perspectives that I can thoughtfully share with others.

For now, I am simply grateful to begin. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from Guru Singh, to immerse myself in a practice that inspires me, and to make room for the kind of growth that happens when we remain open to possibility. Here's to being a student again, embracing the journey, and discovering what unfolds when we commit to showing up with curiosity, intention, and an open heart.
