Reiki
A quiet space to return to yourself.
Life can ask a great deal of us. There are seasons when we need to keep moving, making decisions, caring for others, and meeting the demands of everyday life—and sometimes, we simply need a place to pause.
Reiki offers an opportunity to step out of the noise and into stillness.
As a Reiki practitioner, I create a calm, compassionate space where you can rest, receive, and reconnect with yourself. Through gentle energy work, intentional presence, and quiet reflection, a Reiki session invites you to slow down and listen inwardly.
There is nothing you need to accomplish. Nothing you need to perform. You simply arrive as you are.
An invitation to receive.
Reiki is a Japanese energy-based practice traditionally understood as working with the body's subtle energy. During a session, you remain fully clothed and comfortably resting while I use a series of gentle, non-invasive hand positions, either lightly placed on the body or held just above it, depending on your comfort and preference. Some people experience Reiki as deeply relaxing. Others describe sensations of warmth, spaciousness, emotional release, or a heightened awareness of their inner experience. Every person and every session is different.
A moment to breathe. A moment to be.
Our culture often places enormous value on doing. Reiki offers something different: permission to simply be. A session can become a sanctuary between the demands of one chapter and the beginning of the next. It may be a time to settle your nervous system, quiet your thoughts, reconnect with your body, or simply experience the profound relief of being still. I approach each session with presence, compassion, and respect for your individual experience. There is no expectation that you believe a certain thing or have a particular spiritual practice. Reiki can be explored from a spiritual perspective, as a mindfulness practice, or simply as intentional time devoted to rest and reflection.
Reiki as part of your personal wellness practice
Reiki can be enjoyed as an occasional restorative experience or incorporated into a broader personal wellness practice. Some people seek it during times of transition or stress; others simply appreciate having intentional time set aside for rest, reflection, and renewal. At Lightkeeper's Way, Reiki may also be thoughtfully integrated with meditation, breathwork, gentle movement, or sound when appropriate, creating a more immersive experience of stillness and presence. These practices are not a replacement for medical or mental-health care. Rather, they can exist alongside the professional care and support you already receive, offering another way to cultivate moments of calm and self-awareness.
